Pay rate - £13.00 per hour plus tronc/service charge/staff discount/staff meals/staff ongoing training. Min 40+ per week

Love wine & food? We are a friendly, neighbourhood wine shop and bar with a focus on natural wines and artisan cheese and charcuterie. We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for great wines and fabulous food.
Availability to work evenings and weekends, but with a life-work balance always in mind. The role involves both selling wine from the shop as well as serving food and wine from our regularly changing By the Glass and Charcuterie, and Cheese menu.
If you like retail with a touch of hospitality, we are that place.
Who we are:
Yield
opened its Islington doors in 2021, and in 2015, our mother shop in Newington Green. We are your neighbourhood bottle shop selling natural, organic, biodynamic wines, and craft beers, along with a small menu that you can also enjoy by the glass to have in.
We offer a small deli and our menu is focused on charcuterie & cheese, all to enjoy, so if you like retail with some hospitality table service, this is the perfect place. We are recognised for our great team spirit and for providing fantastic service in an enjoyable setting. Our team is full of character and personality; they are passionate, friendly, and proud of the food and drink we sell.
What we are looking for:
Enthusiasm and energy with a passion for wine and food. You will have a welcoming and friendly approach, relevant retail and/or hospitality experience and a natural passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll be joining our team working in rotation, daytime/evening, and weekend services.
Qualifications/ experience :
. 2-year experience in a hospitality/retail environment
· The ability to take on other tasks when required
. Confident in running sections, orders, and relaying
. Confident in running and making drinks
. Experience in a similar environment
· Able to work evenings and weekends
