Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) is currently looking to recruit a permanent, full time (36.25 hours per week) Clerk of Works, based in Newcastle or Carlisle with a salary of £46,575 per annum.

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and experienced construction professional to join our Development Team. The ideal candidate has experience with construction management and new build housing, ensuring new homes are delivered in accordance with all relevant building regulations and the highest technical and quality standards. You will be able to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records and be able to coordinate quality control and effective defect resolution across a wide geographical area, ensuring quality is at the heart of day-to-day activities.
The successful person will have strong attention to detail, be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and customers. You will be comfortable working with technical and legal requirements, plans, and ensuring standards are being consistently met, through compiling of reports and monitoring performance information.. A positive, adaptable and team-oriented approach is essential.
CCHA owns and manages more than 7,400 homes across the North of England in Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and North Lancashire.
