FULL DRIVING LICENCE FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

Our advanced computer-controlled machinery, combined with over 20 years’ experience allows us to produce any shape you require from large architectural claddings to beautifully designed bathroom and kitchen work surfaces.
The Role:
Maintaining the supply and demand of internal stocks; ensuring correct materials are available for the production process at all times; and supporting a complete and detailed full stock record. Working hands-on loading stocks for processing and finished goods for delivery and supply; whilst recording and transferring remnant materials accordingly.
- Ensuring a safe working area at all times;
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within all yard and storage areas;
- Working with the relevant teams to prepare for the following days cutting of slabs;
- Ensure tone and colour match in all material being loaded;
- Loading A-frames with material for production processing;
- Labelling and locating in storage all remnants produced on shop floor;
- Inspection of remnants for quality, ensuring fit for purpose;
- Emptying of scrap bins and supporting a high standard of housekeeping on shop floor;
- Assisting procurement with identification and location of stock in support of full and complete purchasing of slabs and other supplies;
- Prepare finished stock for delivery and shipping;
- Ensure correct finished goods are loaded in to correct delivery vehicles;
- Ensure clear notes of any damaged inventory with appropriate reporting processes;
- Support other team members as required once yard duties are complete and in order.
The use of an overhead crane and FLT is a key element of this role and so anyone with a valid licence will be given priority consideration.
Regular hours of 7.00 a.m. to 16:36 p.m. Monday to Friday.
