The Hive Beach Café is situated in the heart of the Jurassic Coast and features in the Good Food Guide as a local gem and we are very proud of our reputation offering the best food and customer service.
We are looking for experience and passion to produce quality food using the best locally sourced ingredients for The Hive Beach Café.
This is a full-time position with hourly / salary according to experience.
Great hours for hospitality - No splits shifts, No "hospitality late" nights. 2 days off together for a proper break.
Role and requirements:
You will have proven experience and can assist the whole kitchen team as well as being creative and influence menu development in association with Chefs.
Assist food purchasing / storage and have a clear understanding of costs.
You are passionate about what you do and enjoy working predominantly with fresh local produce, fish, and shellfish.
Maintain Health & Safety standards in the kitchen environment. Maintain a hygienic and safe kitchen environment.
Be fun and outgoing and enjoy creating great food.
Food hygiene cert, recognized qualification, driving licence required.
Pay according to experience and to be discussed.
