Purpose of Job:
- To supervise, support, train and review approved foster carers.
- To work in partnership with other professionals in order to provide placements that keep children safe and enable children and young people to thrive and reach their potential.
- As a qualified social worker, you will be joining an agency responsible for the recruitment, assessment, training, supervision and support of foster carers. You will be committed to team working and the general development of the service.
Job Description:
- Provide support and supervision to Foster Carers
- Review foster carer approval as required and present to Fostering panel as required.
- Participate appropriately in Looked After Children planning meetings and reviews.
- Produce present clear and comprehensive assessments.
- Organise own workload effectively.
- To undertake Form F Assessments as and when required
- To participate in regular professional supervision and staff appraisal.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary:
- Up to £39,000.00 per year - Pro Rata
- 23 days annual leave per year, inclusive of bank holidays
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
- Able to work from home - 1 day every other week (Fortnightly)
Qualifications:
Hold a Social Work qualification as recognised by Social Work England or equivalent UK body
Social Work England (required)
Two years qualified (preferred)
