Position: Apprentice Early Years Practitioner
Job Description:
The Apprentice will be responsible for assisting the nursery team to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5years . This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- To ensure the nursery is a safe environments for children, staff and others.
- To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Manager/Deputy Manager.
- To be a Key Person
- To Plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early outcomes.
- To complete all academic aspects of the apprenticeship.
- To help ensure the nursery meets the Ofsted requirements at all times.
- Other duties as assigned such as general cleaning, preparation of snack.
Qualifications:
- To be qualified to start a level 2 or 3 qualification in Children and Young peoples Workforce or equivalent
- To hold or be able to achieve English and Mathematics GCSE at level 4 or above.

Job Type: Apprenticeship
Pay: £8.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Barnard Castle DL12 8XT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
