Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team! As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Duties
- Read and interpret roofing schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation and repair processes
- Install new roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques with precision and safety in mind
- Repair or replace damaged roofing materials, ensuring proper sealing and weatherproofing
- Operate welding equipment for metal roof components and structural supports when necessary
- Utilize carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and fabrication skills to prepare surfaces and support roofing structures
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, or insulation to ensure efficient workflow
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality standards and identify areas for improvement
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing projects or related trades such as carpentry or masonry
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints for roofing installations
- Hands-on experience with welding, fabrication, and the use of hand tools and power tools in a construction setting
- Knowledge of roofing materials including shingles, metal panels, membranes, and insulation products
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique
- Basic understanding of plumbing or masonry is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship throughout all project phases
