We’re looking for a proactive and energetic Field Sales & Activation Executive to drive distribution, visibility and trial for Mai Chai on the ground. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on getting our products into the right venues and ensuring they are seen, sampled and experienced by our target audience.
Role Purpose
The Field Sales & Activation Executive is responsible for driving on-the-ground distribution, visibility and trial of Mai Chai products.
This role focuses on getting the product into as many relevant locations as possible and ensuring it is seen, sampled and experienced by the target consumer.
The position plays a key role in building brand presence locally and supporting the wider commercial and brand strategy through direct field execution.
Key Responsibilities
Independent Account Acquisition
- Identify and open new independent stockists across key locations
- Target high-value venues including:
- Gyms and fitness studios- Cafés and coffee shops- Co-working spaces- Universities- Salons, barbers and lifestyle venues
- Secure listings quickly and efficiently with a focus on volume and visibility
Distribution Blitz Execution
- Drive rapid local distribution of products, particularly new SKUs
- Build presence across priority regions by increasing the number of stockists
- Execute aggressive sampling and trial strategies where appropriate
Relationship Building
- Develop strong relationships with venue owners and decision makers
- Maintain regular contact with stockists to encourage repeat orders
- Identify opportunities to expand product presence within accounts
In-Store & On-Site Execution
- Ensure products are visible and well-positioned within venues
- Support placement, merchandising and visibility in-store
- Identify opportunities to improve display and exposure
Sampling & Brand Activation
- Conduct product sampling in high footfall locations
- Support brand activations and local events
- Engage directly with consumers to drive awareness and trial
Feedback & Market Insight
- Provide structured feedback on customer reactions, product performance and competitor activity
- Identify trends and opportunities within the field
- Act as the eyes and ears of the brand on the ground
Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Work closely with the National Accounts Manager to align on target accounts and regions
- Support the Brand Partnerships lead with activations and events
- Coordinate with operations to ensure stock availability for new accounts
What This Role Is Not
- Not responsible for national retail negotiations or buyer discussions
- Not a desk-based or administrative role
- Not focused on marketing strategy or creative development
- This role is hands-on, field-based and focused on execution
