Night Shift Assistant Warehouse Supervisor

Griffin & Brand (European) Ltd is a well-established and growing business seeking a motivated and conscientious Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy warehouse team.
This is a key role within our cold store operation, supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse and helping to ensure excellent customer service through accurate stock handling, efficient dispatch, and strong team leadership.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern
- 10-hour shifts - 4 days per week
- Alternate weekends
- Standard shift hours: 5pm – 4am
Key Responsibilities
- Support and supervise Warehouse and Forklift Operatives to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Assist with staff training, motivation, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and Health & Safety standards.
- Oversee goods in, stock control, order picking, and dispatch activities.
- Carry out vehicle, temperature, and cleanliness checks.
- Work closely with Sales, Production, and Technical teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain warehouse standards, records, and documentation.
About You
- Previous warehouse experience, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Organised, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
- Good problem-solving, IT, and numerical skills.
- A positive team player with a proactive approach to work.
