Are you an experienced HR professional who wants to make a meaningful difference in a values-led organisation? Bright Futures is looking for a confident, credible and proactive People Business Partner to join our People Team and support our managers across specialist adult and children’s services.
This is a varied and influential generalist role where no two days will be the same. You will work closely with operational leaders, providing practical HR advice, coaching managers through complex employee relations matters, using workforce data to identify trends, and supporting projects that improve people practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Partnering with managers to provide clear, commercial and values-led HR advice.

Coaching and supporting managers with absence, performance, conduct, grievance, welfare and other employee relations matters.

Using HR data, MI and workforce trends to identify risks, recommend action and support better decision-making.

Supporting compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding expectations, safer recruitment, CQC and Ofsted requirements.

Contributing to organisational change, policy development, manager upskilling and continuous improvement across the People Team.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Strong generalist HR experience, ideally in a multi-site, operational or regulated environment.

Confidence managing a varied employee relations caseload, including complex or sensitive cases.

A practical, solutions-focused approach, balancing legal compliance with operational needs.

The ability to build credibility quickly with managers and senior stakeholders.

Strong coaching skills, with the confidence to support, guide and constructively challenge managers.

Good judgement and the ability to assess risk, escalate appropriately and make sound recommendations.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain HR matters clearly and professionally.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Confidence using HR data and insight to identify trends, highlight concerns and influence action.

A values-led approach, with integrity, discretion and the ability to manage confidential information sensitively.

Resilience, adaptability and emotional intelligence when supporting challenging people matters.

A continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to help shape better ways of working.
