Duties
- Perform physical examinations and utilise physiology and anatomy knowledge to inform clinical decisions.
- Administer injections and medications following strict aseptic techniques and medical protocols.
- Conduct triage assessments to prioritise patient needs effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures, treatments, and patient interactions in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest clinical practices and procedures.
Skills
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology relevant to emergency medicine.
- Proficiency in basic life support (BLS), medication administration, injection techniques, and aseptic procedures.
- Experience with physical examinations, triage processes, and patient care planning..
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and clinical procedures.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
