Plasterer
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, or Sub-contract options
Salary / Rate: £34,000 - £50,000 per year
The Role
Highview Building Group is a well-established building maintenance and refurbishment contractor based in Wallsend, working across the north east of England.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Plasterer to join our team.
You will carry out all aspects of plastering and rendering within domestic and commercial properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance to client specifications.
What you’ll be doing
· Carry out all aspects of plastering, including skimming, patch repairs, float and set work, and dry lining.
· Prepare surfaces prior to plaster application, ensuring a smooth and professional finish.
· Undertake repairs to damaged walls and ceilings in occupied and void properties.
· Install plasterboard and carry out boarding works where required.
· Complete rendering and external plastering work as required.
· Ensure all work is finished to a high standard, meets client expectations, and fully complies with UK health and safety regulations.
· Maintain clean and safe working areas and provide excellent customer service when working in occupied properties.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will have
· Proven experience as a Plasterer (minimum 3 years).
· Relevant NVQ qualification in Plastering (preferred).
· Valid CSCS Card (preferred) and/or relevant NVQ qualifications.
· Valid clean driving licence.
· Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

Subcontract rates available depending on experience and skill level
