Waking Nights Carer – Male Client - Start Date 14th of September
Location: Solihull & Dorridge
Rate: £130 per night
Must have there own public Liability Insurance and be on the update service
Rotations:
- 1 week on / 1 week off
- Shift 9pm – 8.30am

About the Role
We are seeking one experienced and reliable waking nights carer to support a male client living with a brain injury in his own home. The role requires calm, attentive support throughout the night, with awareness of seizure activity.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a confident night carer who is comfortable working independently and responding appropriately to health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing attentive waking night care
- Monitoring the client’s wellbeing throughout the night
- Responding promptly and confidently to seizure activity
- Ensuring the client’s safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
- Maintaining a calm, reassuring presence overnight
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience with seizures (essential)
- Medication and Brain Injury Training
- Current enhanced DBS and registered on the Update Service
- Public liability insurance
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
Desirable (but not essential)
- Epilepsy training (training can be provided if not already held)
