We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RMN/RGN) with a valid NMC PIN to join our professional and supportive team at The Cedars and Larches Care Home.
The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering person-centred care and maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice. You will work closely with the Registered Manager and multidisciplinary teams to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and compassionate care within a homely environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents with complex physical and mental health needs.
- Conduct clinical assessments, care planning, risk assessments, and reviews.
- Administer and manage medications safely and effectively.
- Lead, support, and supervise care staff on shift.
- Monitor and maintain clinical standards through regular audits and quality checks.
- Participate in investigations and incident management when required.
- Provide training, mentorship, and supervision to care staff.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, policies, and best practice guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, residents, and families.
- Provide shift cover when required to support the smooth running of the service.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Valid NMC registration (RMN or RGN).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, flexible, and committed to delivering outstanding care.
Preferred:
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
- Previous UK nursing experience.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex physical and mental health needs.
- Familiarity with electronic care planning and medical record systems.
