Job Summary
As a Commercial Lettings Agent, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing our portfolio of commercial properties. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lettings process, from identifying and attracting prospective tenants to negotiating lease terms and managing relationships throughout the tenancy period. Responsibilities
- Identify, market, and secure tenants for vacant commercial properties, including office spaces, retail units, and industrial properties.
- Conduct property viewings, providing clients and potential tenants with key information and advice on space suitability.
- Negotiate and prepare lease agreements, ensuring terms are aligned with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, landlords, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure smooth transitions and timely occupancy.
- Maintain market knowledge, keeping up-to-date with rental rates, competitor activity, and local market conditions.
- Prepare detailed reports on lettings activity and property performance for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial lettings or property management, with a strong understanding of lease negotiations and property marketing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and negotiate effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of property management software and MS Office.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., MRICS, RICS accredited) are desirable but not essential.
