We are currently seeking a Quality Manager to support our dynamic team on an exciting project. This role is ideal for a highly organised, detail-oriented professional with experience in construction or industrial sectors, who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment.
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client specifications. You will work closely with project teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain the highest quality standards throughout project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure all project activities comply with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant industry standards.
- Conduct quality inspections, audits, and reviews to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive actions to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and clients on quality-related matters.
- Review and approve quality documentation, inspection test plans (ITPs), and technical records.
- Monitor project quality performance and prepare quality reports for management and stakeholders.
- Support project teams with quality guidance, training, and best practices.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for quality assurance and control activities.
- Assist with project handover processes, ensuring all quality documentation is complete and accurate.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence across the project team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Quality Manager or Quality Assurance role within the construction or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, procedures, and industry standards.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, and managing corrective actions.
- Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: £300.00-£340.00 per day
