We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Team Member to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Provide exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to customer needs with professionalism and friendliness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic maths skills and operate POS systems efficiently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless dining experience for all guests.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a hospitality or restaurant environment is essential.
- Proven ability in serving, food safety practices.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary processes is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills focused on guest satisfaction and team collaboration.
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within the hospitality industry is preferred.
