Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing various administrative tasks, supporting staff, and maintaining efficient office processes. This position requires proficiency in office management and excellent communication skills to facilitate interactions with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating engineers.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and clerical tasks, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
- Utilise Sage for financial record keeping and invoicing as required.
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette when handling incoming calls and enquiries.
- Assist with sales and purchase functions of the business.
- Full responsibility for both sales and purchase ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Support team members with administrative tasks as needed to enhance overall productivity.
- Implement organisational systems to improve workflow efficiency within the office.
Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & general CRM data entry.
- Excellent clerical skills with a keen eye for detail in data entry tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous Sage 50 or equivalent experience preferred.
- Previous telecoms, connectivity and IT experience desirable.
