Richard Yorke Ltd is looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to do driving from Monday to Friday.
You will be required :
- To complete daily vehicle checks and reporting of any defects
- To ensure all loads being delivered or collected are safe and secure
- To drive vehicles in a safe and responsible manner ensuring all transport regulations are followed including Tachograph and Digicard requirements.
- Ensure compliance within the drivers hours and working hour regulations, including taking breaks within the guidelines in a designated ‘safe’ place
- To handle goods in a safe and responsible manner
- Report any problems or irregularities immediately to the Transport Department.
- To keep vehicles clean and tidy
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experience:
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
- Digital tachograph and CPC cards
- If not British native - have presettled / settled status.
- Be professional at all times
- A maximum of 6 endorsements on licence.
- Class 1 Driving experience essential
Salary will be dependent on experience.
