As a Family Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in ensuring families with identified needs receive appropriate support services. Your work will span from conception until children reach the age of 19, delivering tailored interventions and evidence-based parenting programmes. You will help families navigate challenges, keeping children safe and fostering their growth.
In this rewarding role, you will:

Deliver and review a range of family support services within the home and community.

Provide one-to-one support to families, ensuring they receive the right help at the right time.

Implement evidence-based parenting programmes and interventions tailored to individual family needs.

Collaborate with other professionals to create a supportive network for families.

Maintain accurate records of your work and progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
To succeed in this role, you will need:

NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject.

To hold 5 GCSEs at level A*-C (including English) or equivalent.

A minimum of three years’ experience working with children and families.

Knowledge of child development, family systems, and effective intervention strategies.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
