We Clean Homes is recruiting experienced domestic cleaners for regular part-time cleaning work in Stalybridge and surrounding areas of Tameside.
We have opportunities for reliable house cleaners in Stalybridge, Dukinfield, Hyde, Mossley and Ashton-under-Lyne. This is a flexible, self-employed domestic cleaning role providing regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning services to private households.

About the role
We Clean Homes introduces experienced local cleaners to homeowners looking for regular help with their household cleaning. You will normally visit the same clients each week or fortnight, helping you build a steady and reliable cleaning round close to home.
You can decide which clients you accept based on their location, preferred cleaning day and the number of hours required.
Pay and benefits
- £15 per hour
- Paid directly by the homeowner after each clean

Domestic cleaner duties
Your regular household cleaning duties may include:
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Dusting furniture and household surfaces
- Vacuuming carpets and floors
- Mopping hard floors
- Cleaning mirrors and internal glass
- Emptying household bins
- Changing bed linen
- General household cleaning and light tidying
- Ironing or other agreed housekeeping tasks when requested
The homeowner will discuss their priorities with you before you begin. You will be paid for your time rather than expected to complete an unrealistic amount of cleaning within a set visit.
Who we are looking for

Applicants must:
- Have previous domestic or professional cleaning experience
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Be comfortable working independently in private homes
- Have a friendly and professional manner
- Be able to communicate clearly with clients
- Drive and have regular access to a car
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Be able to provide identification and proof of address
- Be able to provide suitable references
Working hours
This is flexible part-time work during daytime hours, normally Monday to Friday. You tell us which days and times you are available, and we will only offer clients whose requirements fit your availability.
Hours depend on suitable local clients being available and may build gradually as you develop your regular cleaning round. No specific number of hours is guaranteed.
