Experienced Motor Vehicle Technician required at our Orbit Wellingborough site.
D Joyce & Sons, trading as Orbit Tyres Wellingborough, is a family owned and run business that has been trading since 1957, the year Sputnik was launched, hence the trading name name Orbit. We have three sites, Rushden, Wellingborough and Leighton Buzzard.
Starting as a one bay tyre shop in Rushden and then expanding the sites and locations we have today has seen us grow our range of services widely. From just tyres and then batteries to where we are now carrying out a wide range of repairs including MOT testing, servicing and diagnostics.
We are looking for and experienced technician to join our team. We work on a wide range of vehicles including a fair amount of work on vans up to 3.5t
You will need a good level of experience and technical ability and be able to work independently. Experience with clutch replacement & timing belts/chains is essential.
You must have the ability to work independently on a wide range of vehicles.
We are closed all bank holidays, Sundays and only open half day on Saturdays.
Pay negotiable depending on hours, ability & experience.

Our standard opening hours are 0800-1730 Monday to Friday and 0800-1300 on Saturdays. 21 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
