The main purpose of the role is to carry out a Technical Co-ordinator’s role within the department providing a support function to the Business Manager and Contract Support Engineers.
Main responsibilities
Spares and materials control as per Quality Assurance System QP21 for the Harbour Energy contract within Europe Ops Team 1, duties include:
- Process of materials requests from offshore locations.
- Computerised logging of purchased material data.
- Periodic reports on materials consumption and costs per contract and location.
- Update of materials deliveries to offshore originators.
- Liaise with Support Engineers to manage Client and Sparrows stores stock related to each contract.
- Dispatch and re-ordering of Client and Sparrows stores stock.
- Liaise with stores supervisor to ensure correct materials information is entered into Sun System.
- Continual review of costs on material projects and checking and approving invoices.
Assist with department general duties such as:
- Control of Job register.
- Archiving and control of non-job related files.
- General filing.
- Assist with preparation of Client reports.
- Update Management documents such as HSEQ information.
- Control of department technical library.
HSEQ responsibilities
· It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiar with the Company's HSEQ Policy and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Sparrows Integrated Management System. The incumbent must report any incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems with products, services or systems to their Line Manager.
· The incumbent also has legal responsibilities under country-specific health and safety legislation to follow all Company processes and procedures and familiarise themselves with the emergency response arrangements applicable to them. The incumbent is also responsible for the health and safety arrangements of subordinates (if any) and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.
