Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Helper and Packer to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with meal preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Pack prepared meals carefully to ensure quality and presentation during transportation or serving
- Support the cooking team by organizing ingredients and supplies for efficient workflow
- Follow proper food safety procedures at all times, including hygiene practices and temperature controls
- Help with inventory management by organizing stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies
- Serve as a friendly point of contact for team members, supporting a collaborative kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food preparation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices in a kitchen setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting others
- Basic understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary tasks and food handling
