Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Joiner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various wooden structures and components. Your expertise in carpentry and joinery will contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools
- Fabricate custom joinery components such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture pieces
- Install wooden structures on-site, including framing, roofing supports, and interior fixtures
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and components safely during fabrication and installation processes
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or related trades with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficiency in fabrication, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards
