We collaborate with a prestigious client base in the pharmaceutical, agricultural, agrochemical, horticultural, and fine chemical industries, making us a trusted partner for ‘own label’ products.
We are seeking to recruit Production Operatives to join our team in the Manufacturing and Packaging process on the Day shift (08:00 - 16:30). Late shift may also be available (16.10 - 00.10) In this fast-paced environment, you will complete various manual tasks to ensure smooth operations and help meet production targets.
Activities will include:
- Participate in all aspects of manufacturing/packaging process operations.
- Weighing, packing and labelling of finished goods ready for dispatch.
- Carrying out a variety of physical Manual Handling tasks as instructed, lifting equipment and products from 5kg up to 25kg.
- Ensuring excellent manufacturing practice through maintaining a Safe, Healthy and Hygienic work place.
- Taking responsibility for the area that you work in and the plant in general, this includes good housekeeping.
- Ensure product quality.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have fluent spoken and written skills in English.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Computer literate (desired).
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Ability to work accurately and methodically.
- Self-motivated and uses initiative.
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks.
- Responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the product run on the lines based on specifications.
- Ability to adhere to the strictest levels of hygiene and cleanliness and to perform all Health, Safety Rules and Regulations (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Essential Criteria:
- Readiness to learn and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as you become part of a highly specialized team. excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
- Ability to follow written instructions.
- Willingness to be flexible to meet the demands of the job.
- Effective team working.
