Holiday Cottage Housekeeper / Changeover Cleaner Wanted – Cambridge Area
Cambridge Country Cottages is looking for a reliable, experienced and detail-oriented cleaner/housekeeper to help look after our holiday cottages and prepare them for arriving guests.
We are looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and has a great eye for detail. As these are holiday cottages, we're looking for someone who can make sure each property is left looking immaculate, welcoming and completely guest-ready.
The role will include:
- Full cleaning of the cottages between guests
- Changing and making beds to a high standard
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
- Restocking guest essentials
- Checking that everything is clean, tidy and beautifully presented
- Letting us know about any damage, maintenance issues or missing items
- Occasional deeper cleans when required
We are looking for someone who is:
- Extremely reliable and trustworthy
- Experienced in cleaning/housekeeping
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Happy working independently
- Flexible, as changeover days can vary depending on bookings
- Has their own transport
Holiday cottage/hotel/Airbnb housekeeping experience would be a big bonus, but isn't essential if you have high standards and the right attitude.
Pay: £17–£18 per hour depending on experience
Regular ongoing work available for the right person.
