We are looking for caring and proactive individuals to provide personal care to 2 service users in their own home. Staff will liaise with the district nurses and health professionals to carry out all identified social care tasks and healthcare takes assigned by them, whilst ensuring and outcome-focused service which is responsive to individuals changing needs. This service user will need assistance with medication and shaving, but you will also be involved with supporting them with activities within the community, as they love to go shopping and being out and about.
Male Support Worker Duties:
- Provision of personal care to service users in their own homes
- Provide support to individuals with cooking and cleaning
- Medication administration as directed by health professionals
- Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users
- Work to reduce loneliness and assist service users to engage in community activities where possible
Previous care experience is not essential for this role. Shift patterns range from 6am to 10pm, and we offer full time and part time work, as well as sleep in shifts. You will work within the community for this role and you must be comfortable with travelling around Wellingborough to individual’s homes to provide care.
