- We are a growing and ambitious organisation in the technical education sector, based in Halifax. We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, great attention to detail and high levels of efficiency to join our production team, helping to produce our extensive range of technical education resources.
While not exhaustive the information below will provide a snapshot of the type of work you may be doing for this role:
- Mechanical assembly
- Basic soldering and crimping
- Reading & working from technical drawings to build our portfolio of educational hardware.
- QA and testing of various products
- Using hand tools and machinery to help with the above tasks
- Varied weekly schedules based upon customer order requirements
About you
You should have some experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment and be able to demonstrate the below mentioned personal attributes
- Self-motivated and focused
- Team player
- Good problem solver with an eye for detail
- Interest in engineering/electronics
- Computer literate to a medium level
The following attributes are desirable
- Ability to solder at a low/ medium level
- Wiring experience to include crimping

This is a full time role of 37.50 hours per week
