Having rapidly established ourselves as one of the UK's leading providers within the weight management sector, we are now looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Social Media & Marketing Manager to help drive the next stage of our growth.
The Role
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment, contributing to the efficient delivery of our services. Prior office / administrative & community pharmacy experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage appointment scheduling, verification calls and cancellations efficiently using our local system
- Respond to patient email queries relating to the status of their order
- Answer incoming calls promptly, providing accurate information or directing calls to appropriate staff
- Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and processing correspondence
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times
- Assist with general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the business
- Overseeing the general office cleanliness (including but not limited to daily emptying of the bins, cleaning office areas as required)
- The position will be office based Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Requirements - Essential
- Maths and English GCSE grade C or above or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple projects in a busy environment
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when necessary
- Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to work within guidelines, during competency-based interview
- Strong organisational skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience within healthcare, community pharmacy, wellness or another regulated industry
- Previous office / administrative experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Previous experience of working front of house and / or working within a customer service team is beneficial
