Public Area Cleaner

Are you someone who takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and enjoys working as part of a busy team? We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Public Area Cleaner to join our team at The Abbey Hotel.
This is a key role in ensuring our guests experience the highest standards from the moment they arrive, with every area of the hotel maintained to a consistently high level.
What you will be doing
To ensure all public areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained to a high standard at all times
To clean and service areas including reception, corridors, public toilets, leisure facilities and other guest-facing spaces
To carry out regular checks to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are maintained throughout the day
To replenish cleaning supplies and guest consumables as required
To report any maintenance issues, damage or safety concerns promptly
To follow all health and safety procedures and use cleaning equipment correctly
To work efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules and priorities
To support the wider housekeeping team where required
To maintain a professional appearance and approach at all times
