Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to different skill levels and age groups
- Lead 1-1 practices and drills to enhance player performance
- Motivate athletes to achieve personal and team goals while emphasizing fair play and respect
- Assess player skills and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Organize sessions, coordinate schedules, and communicate effectively with players and parents
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities and maintain a positive, inclusive environment
- Track player progress and maintain attendance records
Experience
Essential
- Sports coaching/playing experience, preferably in football or similar team sports.
- Level 1 coaching qualification.
- Will need to complete an enhanced Access NI.
- Must be able to drive to carry equipment and travel to/from sessions.
- Excellent communication skills to motivate players and collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to plan engaging training sessions that balance skill development with fun.
- Knowledge of football rules, tactics, and safety standards is highly desirable.
