We partner with some of the world’s most iconic fashion houses, including Jimmy Choo, Burberry, Celine, and Bulgari, and operate in prestigious locations such as Selfridges Oxford Street.
The Role:
Step into the spotlight at Selfridges Birmingham Pop-Up, representing a premium brand specialising in the sale and restoration of iconic designer handbags. As our Sales Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of our growth, welcoming customers on our concession, expertly booking in luxury pieces for resale and restoration, and delivering a seamless, personalised experience at every touchpoint. You’ll build lasting relationships face-to-face and through our digital channels, including email and in-store WhatsApp, working closely with our Customer Experience Team to exceed expectations. This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives on luxury, craftsmanship and connection, with occasional opportunity to be included to pop-up events in Selfridges stores across the UK throughout the year.
This is an on-site position based at our Selfridges concession pop-up. The contract runs from early October through December, with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate recommendations both on products and service we offer
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to effectively showcase features and benefits.
- Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to the overall team goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through post-sale support.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the company’s CRM system.
- Have daily input into the visual merchandising of the space
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within a retail or service environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building rapport and trust with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections.
- Familiarity with CRM software is advantageous but not essential.
- A positive attitude, resilience, and a willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
Desirable but not essential:
· Authentication experience or previous experience with luxury handbags or resale market
Bonus and Benefits
- Earn commission on all sales of high value designer goods (£31-33k OTE per annum)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
