Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, organised and hardworking Dental Decontamination Nurse to join our busy and welcoming dental practice. This is a vital role within our team, ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention and instrument decontamination are maintained to support excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the thorough cleaning, disinfecting, sterilising and packaging of dental instruments in accordance with infection control guidelines.
- Maintain accurate decontamination records and documentation.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensuring all decontamination equipment is cleaned, maintained and tested as required.
- Managing stock levels and reporting any equipment faults.
- Follow protocols for waste disposal and infection control measures to minimise cross-contamination risks.
- Supporting the clinical team by ensuring instruments are available and prepared for each session.

Previous experience in a dental environment is not essential as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
