Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Activities Co-Ordinator to join our team in providing engaging and fulfilling activities for residents in our care facility.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee a variety of recreational activities for residents in a nursing home setting.
- Develop and implement programs that cater to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of senior residents.
- Coordinate social events and group activities to promote socialization and community engagement.
- Collaborate with staff members to ensure activities align with individual care plans and support residents' needs.
- Maintain documentation of activity participation and resident feedback for quality assurance purposes.
Skills:
- Experience in a nursing home or care home environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
- Knowledge of dementia care and experience working with seniors in an assisted living setting.
- Passion for providing compassionate care and enhancing the quality of life for senior residents.
