We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Cleaning Operative to join our friendly and expanding family run business. This position offers hours between 9.30 and 3.00 and full paid training.
In this role you will provide high standard cleaning services in domestic client homes. You will work on your own or with colleagues and ensure every space is left clean, hygienic and well presented.
Main Duties
Carry out a range of cleaning tasks such as dusting, wiping, sweeping, mopping, hoovering and disposing of waste.
Use cleaning equipment and products correctly and safely in line with COSHH requirements.
Pay close attention to detail so all areas meet the expected standard.
Complete regular cleans and deep cleans in clients homes with the possibility of future commercial or specialist cleaning work.
Flag any repairs or safety concerns to your supervisor as soon as possible.
Plan your time effectively to finish work within the agreed schedule.
Follow all health and safety rules including infection control and safe PPE use.
Attend all training sessions and refreshers when required.
Present yourself in a professional and friendly manner.
Communicate clearly with clients when carrying out tasks. Post leaflets in local areas when required.
What You Can Expect
Hourly rate from £12.79 during your probation period with pay depending on the type of job.
Minimum 8 hours a week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9.30 and 3.00pm

About You
A full clean driving licence and your own vehicle are essential.
You will need to evidence business use is included on your vehicle insurance.
Some experience in domestic cleaning is required and an interest in progressing within the role is welcomed.
Strong attention to detail with pride in maintaining a high standard.
The role may suit someone who has previously worked as a carer due to the nature of some client needs.
Positive attitude with a reliable and proactive approach to work.
Able to work alone or as part of a team.
