Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Shop Salesperson/Estimator to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients, providing accurate estimates, and promoting our products effectively. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational ability, and a keen eye for detail. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales expertise within a supportive environment, contributing to the growth of our business. This role can be full-time or part-time, with Saturdays as standard.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and assist them in selecting suitable products or services
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, ensuring all client specifications are met
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of products and pricing
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service standards
Experience
- Previous experience in sales or estimation within a retail or specialised trade environment is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and cost calculations
