We are seeking a professional and attentive Night Porter & Receptionist to provide exceptional guest services during overnight hours and daytime shifts. Duties
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures in a courteous manner
- Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring the premises during night hours
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and room allocations accurately using the booking system
- Respond promptly to guest requests or issues, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction
- Perform administrative tasks such as logging incidents, preparing reports, and managing correspondence
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with hotel policies
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel reception or hospitality is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly advantageous for effective communication with diverse guests
- Proven ability to deliver excellent guest services with professionalism and discretion
- Familiarity with hotel management software or reservation systems is desirable
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience in handling guest complaints or queries with tact and diplomacy is beneficial
