Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently and accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Serve food items promptly and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations, process payments, and issue receipts with accuracy
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing knowledgeable recommendations to guests
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with licensing laws
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender or Server within a busy hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse clientele
- Knowledge of standard drink recipes, cocktail mixing, and food service procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as required
