Pennies at Mark Cross are recruiting a Room Leader for their newly expanded and refurbished baby room.
A Level 3 Childcare qualification and at least 1 year's work experience leading a team in a care/education setting is required for this role.
Within the room at full capacity there would be another 6 Nursery Practitioners which this role will supervise and lead to ensure smooth running of the room. The room is not currently at full capacity so at the moment there are only 3 or 4 Practitioners working within the rooms to meet ratios.
The room can take up to a maximum of 21 children per day.
The role is a 4 day position working 37.5hrs or 40hrs per week worked over 4 days between Monday and Friday.
If you live over 20 miles away from the nursery we will contribute towards commuting costs by paying 2hrs at the hourly rate extra per day on top of your salary.
The shift pattern of the nursery is 7.20am to 17.20pm and 8.30am and 18.30pm and staff tend to work one week of earlies and one week of lates.
