We're looking for compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Residential Care Practitioners to join our specialist learning disability children's residential home in Coalville. This is your chance to become part of a supportive team that helps young people build confidence, independence, and brighter futures.
Working on a rotating shift pattern between 7:30am and 11:00pm, across a 7-day week, you'll also have the opportunity to complete overnight sleep-ins, earning an additional £70 per sleep-in shift.

What We're Looking For:
Our ideal Residential Care Practitioner will have:
- A Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Child Care (Children and Young People's Workforce) or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Experience working with children and young people in a relevant setting.
- A full UK manual driving licence.
- Flexibility to work shifts and undertake overnight sleep-ins.
- A caring, resilient, and positive approach to supporting young people.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Residential Care Practitioner, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and positive home environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each young person's individual needs including personal care if needed.
- Supporting, encouraging, and empowering young people to reach their full potential.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people at all times.
- Acting as a positive role model and helping young people develop life skills and confidence.
- Managing risks effectively in line with company policies and procedures.
- Supporting young people's emotional, physical, social, and practical needs.
- Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Contributing to care planning, risk assessments, behaviour support plans, healthcare documentation, and review processes.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people.

- Hold a current UK drivers Licence
