Lindum Construction is looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded Supply Chain Administrator to join our team.
This is a varied role where you’ll play an important part in supporting the effective administration and management of our supply chain throughout the lifecycle of our projects. Working closely with our Commercial, Health & Safety, Project Management and Accounts teams, you’ll help ensure our supply chain partners meet contractual, organisational and legislative requirements, while keeping information accurate, organised and up to date.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Assisting with the preparation, distribution and administration of supply chain documentation.
- Maintaining accurate supply chain registers, records and compliance information.
- Requesting and maintaining up-to-date documentation relating to our supply chain partners, including competencies, staff qualifications and insurance levels.
- Supporting the registration of new contractors and helping to monitor their ongoing performance and suitability.
- Assisting Quantity Surveyors with the day-to-day administration of supply chain accounts.
- Processing and tracking applications for payment, payment notices and payment certificates.
- Monitoring payment performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Supporting the procurement and appointment of subcontractors.
- Maintaining accurate records in line with Lindum procedures and Constructionline requirements.
- Building professional and positive relationships with subcontractors, supporting them with contractual and administrative queries.
- Coordinating information accurately across our internal teams.
- Attending meetings and preparing minutes and actions when required.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, approachable and confident managing a range of information and priorities.
You will ideally have:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- An understanding of supply chain administration and commercial processes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage your workload, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in construction contract administration would be beneficial.
- Experience within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, M&E or a related industry would also be advantageous.
