Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Nursery Practitioner Level 2/3! Your expertise in childcare and early childhood development will help foster curiosity, independence, and social skills among our little learners.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards
- Supervise and support children’s daily routines, including play, meals, rest, and hygiene activities
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment by adhering to health and safety policies and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with colleagues to monitor children’s progress, document developmental milestones, and communicate effectively with parents or guardians
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and developmental assessments as part of regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting, with at least Level 2 childcare qualification or equivalent.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to safeguarding children’s welfare and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures

Pay: £12.71-£12.86 per hour
