Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of street food dishes with fresh ingredients, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation
- Oversee food production processes to maintain consistency, quality, and safety standards
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and cleanliness
- Lead and supervise a team of kitchen staff and servers, fostering teamwork and motivation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of food products at all times
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and promote menu offerings
- Innovate new recipes and menu items to keep the street food experience exciting and appealing
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or street food setting
- Supervising experience or team management skills to lead kitchen staff effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
- Culinary experience with a focus on street food or casual dining is highly desirable
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
