Man and Van Operative - London
Moviist Ltd is a growing London-based man & van moving service. looking for reliable, physically fit, and customer-focused operatives to join our team on a flexible-hours basis.
This is a hands-on role — not just a driving job. You’ll drive a company-provided van between jobs, load and unload customers’ belongings, safely handle light furniture and other items, and provide a professional service from start to finish.
Hours will vary depending on customer demand, with opportunities for regular and additional shifts as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vans safely between customer locations
- Load, transport and unload furniture, boxes and other belongings
- Work solo or as part of a 2-man team depending on the job
- Protect customer belongings throughout every move
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Follow manual-handling, health & safety and road-safety procedures
Requirements
- Full UK Manual driving licence (essential)
- Van driving experience (essential)
- English speaker
- Permanent right to work in the UK — no sponsorship available
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting daily
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Flexible availability including weekends
- Previous removals or logistics experience preferred but not essential
- No unspent criminal convictions
