Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, soft drinks, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems or manual methods, and deliver orders promptly to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently while prioritizing guest needs and timing
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Follow all health, safety, and food safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Skills
- Strong knowledge of hospitality practices and excellent serving skills to provide top-notch customer service
- Familiarity with food safety standards to maintain cleanliness and hygiene at all times
- Ability to work well with '<PERSON>' (a placeholder for team members or supervisors) to coordinate service smoothly
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Effective time management skills to juggle multiple tables or orders efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
