Role Overview
Support clinical operations while ensuring excellent patient care and client service across veterinary practices.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily clinical operations to ensure smooth service delivery
- Liaise with veterinary professionals, clients, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and service provision
- Oversee appointment scheduling, client consultations, and follow-up procedures
- Assist in implementing clinical protocols and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Support staff training programmes and professional development initiatives
- Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment
- Handle administrative tasks such as record keeping, reporting, and documentation management
- Promote a positive client experience through professional engagement and excellent customer service
- Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and incorporate best practices into clinic operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a veterinary or animal health environment, with a strong understanding of clinical procedures
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and team members
- Knowledge of veterinary software systems and administrative tools is desirable
- A recognised qualification in veterinary nursing or related field is preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and support a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to delivering exceptional clinical services
