AMb Travel is a family business based in Ashford, Kent providing safe and reliable minibus and coach hire to various individuals, groups, organisations and businesses, with an excellent reputation for our high level of service and customer care being of paramount importance.
We are currently seeking PCV drivers to join our dedicated team:
Full Time
The role involves driving our minibuses and coaches on a varied range of contracts and private hires.
The candidate must be willing to work flexible hours across our day, evening and weekend workload.
The usual weekly average hours is 40 hours, with overtime available.
Part Time
- School contracts
- Corporate contracts
- Adhoc private hire
We can accommodate the applicants desired hours to suit their needs, whether that is regular hours on fixed days or flexible hours subject to their availability.
School Contract Driver
- Term time only
- Overtime available but not mandatory
- Pay can be spread over 12 months if required
Primary Responsibilities
- Driving all of our vehicles safely and with care, ensuring the safety of all passengers and road users
- Providing a high level of service and customer care to all passengers
- Adhering to legal drivers' hours regulations
- Working and co-operating well with other colleagues as part of our dedicated team
Pay
£14.25 - £15.25 Monday to Friday Standard Rate
£16.25 - £17.25 Weekend Enhanced Rate
Subject to experience.
We offer a company pension, 28 days paid holiday (Pro-Rata) and Uniform.
Licence/Certification Required
The applicant will need a relevant PCV (Category D) Driving Licence and an up to date Driver CPC Card to apply. Applicants will also be required to obtain a Drivers Digital Tachograph Card and an enhanced DBS check.
Ongoing driver CPC training is provided and you are paid to attend the courses.
Joining Incentive
If a successful applicant already holds a KCC driver's badge, a joining fee will be offered as an incentive. Please ask us for more information.
