Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, including coffee, tea, and light snacks, following food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment, ensuring a hygienic environment
- Manage cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth cafe operations throughout the shift
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to safety guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing customer needs promptly
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making equipment is preferred
- Experience serving customers in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle food preparation tasks efficiently and safely
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude
