Due to continued expansion, we’re looking for an experienced PSV Engineering Foreman to take responsibility for our engineering department.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll still be involved on the tools, while overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop and ensuring our coach fleet is maintained to the highest standards.
This is an opportunity for the right person to step into a senior engineering role and put their own stamp on the workshop as the business continues to grow.
The Role
Carry out servicing, repairs and diagnostics on our modern coach fleet.
Lead, organise and support the engineering team.
Plan and prioritise daily workshop workloads.
Manage planned maintenance schedules and ensure inspections are completed on time.
Oversee defect rectification and ensure repairs are completed right first time.
Maintain DVSA compliance and accurate workshop records.
Manage parts ordering, suppliers and workshop stock control.
Liaise with manufacturers and external suppliers.
Improve vehicle reliability and reduce downtime.
Maintain workshop standards, tooling and equipment.
Support and develop other members of the engineering team.
Work closely with senior management on fleet performance and future improvements.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience working with PSV vehicles/coaches.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
Experience leading a team or running a workshop would be beneficial.
Good understanding of preventative maintenance and compliance.
Someone who takes pride in high standards and leads by example.
A proactive approach with the drive to improve the department.
